Texilog: The Roots of Web Engineering and Advanced Visual Experiences (2003-2009)

Long before the era of the Agentic Web and semantic SEO, web engineering required a rigorous structuration of data architectures. Founded in 2003 in Casablanca, Texilog was one of the first Moroccan web agencies to merge the discipline of corporate software integration (CIM and CAD) with the innovation of interactive rich media environments.

From Information Systems to Web Innovation: The Genesis of a Digital Pioneer

After obtaining his engineering degree in France (ENSITM, 1988, which became ENSISA in 2006), Mohammed Alami returned to Morocco to develop Logitel. For more than a decade, the company established itself in B2B software engineering and integration (CIM and CAD). In 2003, backed by this solid technical architecture, the focus shifted to the web: Logitel evolved to give birth to Texilog (a fusion of TEXt and LOGO). This transition stemmed from a strict engineering desire: to bridge the gap between the rigor of production or computer-aided design systems and the emerging need for advanced visual assistance for Moroccan companies.

Immersive Media Before Its Time

As early as 2004, operating seamlessly across Marrakech and Casablanca, Texilog introduced 360-degree interactive virtual tours tailored for premium real estate and luxury tourism assets (Riads, Villas) under the proprietary brand Panoramide. Overcoming the severe bandwidth limitations of the era, this pioneering infrastructure utilized cross-channel delivery models (Web and CD-ROM), establishing early benchmarks for performance optimization.

Consumer Immersive Innovation & The SEO Proving Ground

Launched in 2006, the proprietary portal Immomoto.com started as a tactical MVP before emerging as a major market innovation in Morocco. It stood out as the first property portal in the nation to enable individual sellers to integrate 360° virtual tours natively into consumer listings—with the absolute photography and digital production handled on-site by Texilog's specialized field teams. Beyond its success as a visual platform, Immomoto evolved into a highly complex algorithmic laboratory. Scaling and optimizing this massive data index in 2007 led to the foundational discovery of Organic Search Optimization (SEO). This dynamic transformed a core software engineering background into a career-defining commitment to search algorithms, forging the technical foundations of today’s high-level semantic consulting.

A Portfolio of Historical Authority: From Enterprise to Immersive Layouts

Texilog's technical rigor rapidly attracted the trust of leaders in various sectors. The agency deployed avant-garde visibility strategies, ranging from classic web engineering to 3D modeling (representing a specialized company in France), for major players in the Moroccan economy.

01 / Enterprise & Industrial Accounts

In the industrial and B2B sectors, Texilog supported the digitalization of historical giants (such as Richbond, Baltimar, and Simmons), as well as structured companies like PROBOT Broderie, TRICMA, and TRES VERRE (Aluminum Joinery). The trust of major institutions such as ACAM (Association of Chartered Accountants of the State of Morocco) proved our ability to design complex architectures. For these leading players, the challenge was to translate their offline authority into a technically robust digital presence.

02 / Property Development & 3D Analytics

Texilog's expertise in immersive technologies profoundly appealed to the real estate development sector. We took charge of web creation coupled with the development of interactive virtual tours and 3D animations (in partnership with a French publisher). This synergy was deployed for Vernet Immobilier, Groupe Alliances (Chwiter Project), Les Belles Résidences, as well as for other notable archive actors and projects such as Guy Hoquet Casablanca (Immogissy), Agence ARENA, Eden Parc, and Les Fleurs de Targa.

03 / High-End Hospitality & Global Visibility

The luxury hospitality market required uncompromised visual fidelity to capture global demand. Texilog crafted bespoke web systems embedded with responsive 360° panoramas (distributed online and via offline physical media) under the Panoramide framework. This structure empowered luxury landmarks like Résidence Sarah, Villa Darabesque, Villa des 3 Golfs, and Le Relais du Lac to secure international organic search visibility.

The Origin: Logitel (1992-2003) — Databases, Software Design and B2B Information Systems Engineering

Founded and registered in the commercial registry under number RC 56389 (Casablanca) in February 1992, Logitel S.A. operated for over a decade as a leading IT services company (SS2I) specializing in B2B software design, database structuring, complex systems integration and corporate infrastructure modernization.

The company established itself as a key player in industrial computerization in Morocco by becoming the exclusive official representative of cutting-edge solutions from ORLI France — the apparel-focused manufacturing software suite led by Robert Martin, later integrated into the CEGID group — as well as INFODESIGN, a major technology structure also acquired in 1996 by a large industrial group.

Before the web, Logitel was already working on what would later become central to digital architecture: data modeling, business software design, industrial process structuring, database management and interfaces between users, production environments and information systems.

After equipping major Moroccan decision-makers and institutions with rigorous management methodologies, Logitel completed its transition in 2003. This technical foundation in databases, software design and industrial data management served directly as the matrix for designing Texilog's advanced web architectures starting in 2004.
